Wayne is a unique combination of Civil War collector and reenactor. On many weekends he portrays an NCO with Co. A of the 2nd Massachusetts Volunteer Cavalry (a.k.a. "The California Hundred") for the Fort Tejon Historical Society. His collecting interests include GAR and California and Western U.S. Civil War historical items. Portions of his collection have been exhibited across Southern California. Wayne is a frequent speaker to a variety of groups and serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors of the historic Drum Barracks Civil War Museum in Wilmington, California. His "hands-on" knowledge of accoutrements and uniforms, coupled with his unequalled experience in the history of military service in California make him a true west coast collector and a key component in the WCCWC.
